... will start next week. The competition will involve 5 rounds, semi-final and final and will run alongside the Carling League Cup.

In view of their involvement in European competition, the seven highest placed teams from last season's Premier League will be exempted from the first two rounds.

The remainder of the Premier League teams and the eight highest placed teams will be exempted from the first round.

All other teams registered for this season's Prediction League will be included in the draw for the first round which will take place shortly.

Anyone bothering?

Much prefer a 'showcase' friendly like this than Vallalolid but I am still unsure of going.

Sunderland appear to be attempting outnumber City support, they have been sold tickets right around to P1 and behind the goal.

Personally reckon we'll struggle heavily and it will be the constant subs made by Sunderland which avoid it being more than a two goal lead.

Any more for the Prediction League?

On Sunday i was very fortunate to watch the cricket from the late Trevor Bennett box.

As i scrolled along the Boxes the only one doing business was the kirby and west owned,and they were only there for an hour.

And this got me thinking do L.C.C.C advertise these boxes,and if so were.

It comes to no surprise to me we are not doing very well financially...i think there has to be some big changes if we are to move forward.

I paid for a box 5 years ago for my dads 60th,and it was £55 a head which was not bad as you get a meal...then sandwiches later+the drink is free.

Are they just happy to survive whats your thoughts?

My brother's N97 stopped working correctly. The top line of buttons on the qwerty keyboard stopped working, so he took it into the CPW to be repaired.

After waiting two weeks he went to collect it and told him it had been water damaged, so they wouldn't fix it. He says its never been anywhere near water to which they said 'well it can happen from the moisture in the air'

When they gave him the phone back, they had failed to put it back together correctly, so he told them to do so. When he got it back it had now completely stopped working. The CPW said that the water damage had spread and that they would refuse to even look at it now because it had been **wrongly** certified water damaged.

He's 9 months into this 24 month contract and CPW have effectively avoided all the manufacturers warranties by wrongly claiming its been water damaged.

Anyone experienced anything similar? I've done a google search and a few other people have had similar things said to them. I know a few people with the N97 and not one of them has ever worked properly.

Is that good enough? I doubt it personally.

We seem to be missing out on targets, presumably as we wait for a cash injection in to the club via this 'takeover'. Colace and Orlandi have resigned for their original clubs when they looked set to come here.

When do we start signing players? The squad looks much much weaker than last year.

I'm not sure if many of you have been following his blogs that have been on the OS? Basically he decided to climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds for a charity set up in the name of Harley Staples, an 8 year old Leicester fan who lost his battle against a rare leukaemia (B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia Birkitt Type) in November of last year.

His blogs, certainly in the final stages of the climb are quite moving.

The eternal question - it will probably never be satisfactorily answered. Perhaps there is no answer.

For me, I preferred Poole at the time, but Ward had better hair. Poole gets extra points for being quite good despite being 5 foot 8 or something whilst Gavin Ward (m'lord) had (and has) the better song.

Leicester City have added four names to their squad as they travel to London Road to face League One Peterborough United.

Robbie Neilson, Jorrin John, Jeffrey Schlupp and Ashley Chambers are all included after missing the trip to the Kassam Stadium.

The only man missing from Saturday's 1-1 draw with Oxford United is Nicky Adams.
